MaxLIFE Therapies is a Colorado-based nutrition practice specializing in healthy-weight programs, childhood obesity, and diagnosed health conditions such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, and autoimmune disease.
The company's founder, Julie Hammerstein, is a Certified Nutritionist who is specifically trained to analyze and design health programs that assist her clients with dietary, fitness and lifestyle changes.
MaxLIFE Therapies was created from Julie's strong belief that all of us have the ability to maximize our vitality and longevity, and truly reach our potential for healthy living. The concept was inspired by Julie's son, Max, whose vibrant health and dynamic nature serve as reminders that nothing is static, and that we have an intrinsic desire to create better outcomes for ourselves.
Noted author Michael Pollan writes in his book The Omnivore's Dilemma, "Whatever native wisdom we may have once possessed about eating has been replaced with confusion and anxiety. Somehow this most elemental of activities - figuring out what to eat - has come to require a remarkable amount of expert help."
It is Julie's mission to address the confusion and anxiety about eating right, while balancing this with exercise and other habits that increase the probability of a healthy life. She teaches her clients about their specific health requirements, while giving them the tools to make smarter choices, with more ease, for better results.
Our Philosophy
We believe that knowledge can be empowering. The more we understand our bodies and the mechanisms that cause dis-ease, the more committed we become to getting better. We are devoted to educating you about your body, how it works and how to heal it. We believe in working with our clients as partners, to learn from each other in our journey together to maximize health.
