Being healthy doesn't mean you have to overhaul your entire life! The main reason you are not living healthfully now, is because you don't know HOW! It seems so hard, doesn't it?
That's why you need coaching - to learn the EASY way to health, that doesn't require more than learning how to put gas in your car for the first time, or learning to tie your shoe, riding a bike, making a peanut butter sandwich.
I teach families to “take back” their health by eating right, exercising together and creating a “culture” of healthy living within the home. My expertise transforms the mind-set of every family-member, whether four or forty, to lovingly break down the "it's too hard", and build easy strategies that work!
Through personal consultation and family coaching, I have created a winning formula to raise healthy, happy families in a busy world.
I am also a single-mom, and know how tough it can be to create healthy meals that satisfy finicky palates! I also grew up as an overweight kid, and know the agony of dealing with a skewed body image and overwhelming feelings of failure.
Fortunately, I wanted more for myself and I am grateful my parents did too. Today I am no longer that fat girl. Through training, belief, and daily habits, I transformed into a woman who is healthy, fit and full of vitality. I have created the WINNING formula for minimizing the chaos and creating the change that moves your family in a new direction.

It doesn’t help that kids today are faced with incredible challenges when it comes to making healthy choices. Inactivity due to TV and video games, unhealthy school lunches, drive-thru dinners and minimal family time have become serious risk-factors. With all these obstacles, it’s no wonder why:
The bottom line...we need to start saving our kids lives NOW! It is your job to give them every opportunity to thrive and achieve their personal best!
The solution? Empowerment. It’s about creating a culture in your home where healthy habits are so much a part of who you are, that you do them without thinking about it.
Thus I have created the MaxLifeKIDS™ Family Wellness Program - a 3-pillar approach to Educate, Empower and Explore™ new ways to raise happy, healthy families in a busy world. This program can be successfully implemented in person, or via phone and internet through my personalized
tele-consults and webinars. The fundamentals of the program are as follows:
EDUCATE
It’s amazing what kids will do with knowledge! Our lessons are fun and memorable and can be easily applied to daily life.
We start with the basics, Nutrition 101. You will learn about physiology…yes the body. How your food choices affect things like blood sugar, brain chemicals, muscle mass, fat storage, cellular health - all factors that determine your life span!
As I "walk" you through the grocery store, your kitchen, restaurants, or your own backyard, you will see first-hand the MaxLifeKIDS R.E.C.I.P.E™ for health:
EMPOWER
Don’t let your kids sit on the sidelines! They need to be active participants in this new game of healthy living.
You will include ALL your family members in this process, as you learn to value their input and encourage everyone to take responsibility for their actions. You will see first-hand the difference between giving kids options, and deciding as a parent or caregiver which things are clearly “non-negotiable”.
I will provide you with Tracking Tools for the Home™, designed to include your kids in the process as they track their progress and make healthy choices without constant reminders!
EXPLORE
The third step is to Explore. Kids love adventure! Trying new things can be grounds for incredible laughter, instead of tears and frustrated frenzy. We’ll have a BLAST making snacks and meals that have kids licking their plates – literally! Just take it from these parents and kids:
“My daughter is the epitome of picky. She likes noodles, bananas, cereal, juice, and bagels. When we had Julie over to make snacks with our family, I rolled my eyes when I saw that she brought PLAIN yogurt, red grapes and naturally sweetened granola. "Fitting In" TV Show
What we have learned, is that children will make you proud if you consistently remind them they matter and simply give them the chance. I thought rather than telling you what happened during the filming of Fitting In, that I would let the kids tell the story.
This is their journey. The Life-Coaches just came together to serve them with encouragement, information and motivation. Fitting In is not about scales, elimination or intense workouts. Fitting In is about making healthy choices everyday and learning to really love yourself and what you do to and with your body. Fitting In is about being positive, walking, not eating sugary snacks. Fitting In is a journey not a destination. The journey is about feeling good and the reward is living a healthy life. FIT is a feeling.
